MISSES’ COAT: Lined and interlined, flared, loose-fitting coat, below mid-calf length has shaped collar, dropped shoulders, side seam pockets and back yoke. Wide, bracelet length sleeves may be worn turned up to form deep cuffs. A: no closures. B: button and bound buttonhole. A, B: wide topstitching.
NOTIONS: Coat A, B: ¹/2" Raglan Shoulder Pads or Vogue #9723 and Seam Binding. Also for B: One 1" Button.
FABRICS: Camel’s Hair, Ottoman and Wool Broadcloth. Interfacing: Hair Canvas. Interlining: Lightweight Flannel. Unsuitable for obvious diagonals. Allow extra fabric to match plaids or stripes. Use nap yardages/layouts for pile, shaded or one-way design fabrics. with nap. *without nap.
